Boarding

We'd love to have your dog as our guest!

Heading out of town and need a safe place for your canine companion to stay? We have you covered!

At Paws & Pals Pet Resort, our beautiful private suites are a modern-day approach to traditional pet boarding. Each unit is clean, comfortable, and climate-controlled and has plenty of space to accommodate large breeds or multiple dogs from the same family. Instead of wire cages, we house dogs in suites with large glass fronts that provide excellent views. Your furry best friend will also get to enjoy a comfy bed and plenty of peace and quiet while staying with us.

We charge by the night just like a hotel, and you are free to check your dog in or out any time our lobby is open. Our standard checkout time is 2 pm. We are open on Sundays and some holidays (excluding Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day), and we do not charge extra for administering medications, special feedings, or personalized care. With all of the amazing amenities, it's no wonder so many south Twin Cities metro area residents choose us when they are in need of dog boarding in Prior Lake, Savage, Lakeville, and the surrounding areas.

New Boarding Customers

We require a first-day evaluation for all new boarding customers. During this evaluation, your dog will be slowly introduced to our staff, facility, and a few dog friends. To schedule your first-day drop off please call or email us. Once your dog passes the evaluation, you will be free to schedule their next reservation.

Dog Boarding Requirements

We require all our guests to be at least four months old and fully vaccinated against:

  • Rabies
  • Parvo-Distemper
  • Bordetella (current within the last 6 months)
  • All guests over the age of 7 months must be spayed or neutered

We ask that you bring hard copies of your dog’s vaccine records along with their food and any required medications. Treats, toys, and chew bones are optional, but we do not accept rope toys or rawhides. We also ask that you do not bring bowls, bedding, of blankets. We may, however, make an exception and allow you to provide a blanket or bed from home if your dog is extremely nervous, suffers from separation anxiety, or destroys bedding.

We do a first-day evaluation with each guest to ensure they will do well boarding with us before their stay.
